Legal and General Mortgage Club have warned that home buyers have 1o days left if they want to beat the Stamp Duty Holiday deadline of 31st March 2021.
As reported in Estate Agent Today, L&G have also urged Government policy makers to introduce a tapered end to the scheme to avoid a cliff edge which could potentially lead to an increase in failed transactions.
This dire prediction is based on the industry average time it takes to go through the whole process including finding your new home, securing your mortgage and selling and purchasing your new home through your conveyancer.
